Our purpose is to protect individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied. Amnesty International current campaigns include work to stop violence against women and the control of the arms trade.

The Refugee Council

The Refugee Council is the largest organisation in the UK working with asylum seekers and refugees. We give direct help and practical support to address their needs and concerns. We also speak out for the rights of refugees and asylum seekers to ensure that the human right to asylum is upheld in the UK.
