Bespoke Challenge Events
We are able to tailor events both in the UK and overseas for companies wishing to organise a charity challenge event exclusively for their employees in conjunction with Classic Tours.
These events can be operated as 'open challenges', allowing each employee to fundraise for their chosen cause, or corporately for the company charity of the year.
Companies can also benefit enormously from these events, they can be used as a team building exercise, to boost staff morale and provide great PR opportunities.
Examples of events organised for employers include...
Barclays Investment Services - Team Building Weekend - North Downs
A team building weekend in the North Downs of Kent, including an 'It's a Knockout' competition, murder mystery and treasure hunt on bikes
Many, many thanks for a wonderful weekend. The office is buzzing this morning so the team event really paid off and gave us all a boost
British Telecom - Dharamsala Trek for ChildLine UK
Employees took part in the Dharamsala Trek, viewing mountains and monasteries. They chose to raise money for ChildLine which has links with ChildLine India where the employer has many call centres.
The organisation of the trek exceeded my expectations. It was an awesome experience. I don't think anything can prepare you for the assault India has on your senses!
Orange - 3 Peaks Challenge for Sense
Wanted a 24 hour challenge so a 3 peaks, Yorkshire Dales event fitted the bill.
That I could simultaneously give to a worthy charity and do something personally challenging and enjoyable at the same time
UnumProvident - 1000 mile jogging relay for SeeAbility
A UK wide insurance company wanted to involve employees from all areas so Le Jog, a relay to Lands End from John O'Groats was arranged. It covered 1,000 miles and teams of 100 each ran 10 miles, they had to raise £200 each in sponsorship.
McDonalds - South Africa Bike Ride for Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities
Wanted a far flung challenge for their franchisees. A group of 40 intrepid cyclists headed off to South Africa and rode the Garden Route raising money for Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities.
We can be as creative as you like, the only limit is your imagination.
