Challenge Events Frequently Asked Questions
For each challenge there is a registration pack, included in this pack is an FAQ section which will answer all the questions relative to that challenge. You can view these before registering to ensure that the challenge is suitable for you.
Each one will have the answer to the following:
- Who can take part?
- Am I fit enough?
- What training is required?
- Are there steep sections of the route?
- What will the weather be like?
- What kind of support is there?
- Will I have to carry my kit?
- Do I need specialist kit?
- Where will we stay?
- Do I need a visa?
- What will we eat and drink?
- Do I need any vaccinations?
- Do I need travel insurance?
- Can I stay after the challenge?
- What's provided?
- What do I need to provide?
- How will I be able to raise the sponsorship money?
Any questions not answered in the registration packs can be put to us by email or via our helpline.
Some employers actively encourage staff to take part in these challenges and some offer matched sponsorship (in full or part) extra day/s of annual leave etc., why not check with your HR/Rewards & Benefits Manager or check your intranet to see if your employer is one of them.
