Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. Our famous slogan 'A Dog is for Life, Not Just for Christmas®' was created in response to the vast number of dogs abandoned each year in the months following Christmas. Every year we look after over 15,500 dogs at our 17 Rehoming Centres across the UK.
We believe that every dog should have a chance to lead a happy and healthy life. Most of the dogs in our care find loving new homes, but some, because of their difficult pasts, have problems which make it very hard for them to find a home of their own. Dogs Trust never destroys a healthy dog so we will look after these dogs for the rest of their lives. They've got loads of love to give and all they need is a best friend like you! Your sponsorship means we are able to rescue and rehome even more dogs that desperately need our help. 100% of our funding comes from voluntary donations,so we are totally dependent on the generosity of people like you.
