At Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK we grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
Our wishes are truly magical. Whether a wish is to be a princess or a policeman for a day, own the latest computer equipment, meet a favourite celebrity or just enjoy some special time away from home with their family, a wish come true brings so much to a child's life and provides memories that last a lifetime.
Make-A-Wish, we had the time of our lives and owe it all to you. Thank you for making all my dreams come true; you are amazing and I will never forget you.

With 20,000 children in the UK living with life-threatening conditions at any one time, our work is never done. Our aim is to ensure that every child experiences the joy and magic of a Make-A-Wish wish. In 2008 our target is to grant 600 wishes.
Her confidence since we have returned home has improved dramatically and I think she's beginning to realize how special she is and how she should be proud of her short hair as it shows people what she has been through and how brave she is.

If you would like to sponsor a Make-A-Wish wish and help a really deserving child, we ask that a minimum of £3,000 is donated in one year.
In return
As soon as the money is received we will tell you about the individual child concerned, why they chose that particular wish and how Make-A-Wish was able to turn the wish into a magical experience for the child's whole family. That way, you will hear all about the wish that you have helped to grant, in the knowledge that your money is being used where it is most urgently needed.
Furthermore, wherever possible but without any guarantees, we will try to allocate your money to a child from your region of the United Kingdom.
